Most of these games are very simple games that are either self-explanatory or else the page or applet will give directions on how to play the game. Keep in mind that often an applet requires you to click the mouse inside the applet before it can begin playing. If you are not familiar with how Java applets operate, never fear. A Java applet is simply a small program that is downloaded from the web to your machine and run from your own machine. Hence, in most cases once you have loaded the game you can actually disconnect from the internet and still play the game in your browser. Keep in mind that applets can use up cache memory and that they operate best on 4.0+ version browsers, preferably Internet Explorer. If you are operating on a machine with a slow processor or small amount of RAM you may be dissapointed with the performance of applets on your machine. The applets on this arcade were not written by myself but were provided as a free resource. If you have any problems with these applets then you are out of luck. If you enjoy these applets tell a friend and let me know also. If you have suggestions for new or different games let me know. If you feel that a particular applet is being improperly used please let me know immediately. |
