The Haitian Evangelical Baptist
Rev. Jerome Aidee and Rev. Paul Aiello
The Haitian Evangelical Baptist Church of Trenton was incorporated in 1995. Pastor Jerome Aidee and his wife Giselle feel that God has a mission for them to do, to plant seeds of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. As they explored the Trenton area they found that many Haitian people are located in the area who do not yet know the Lord. So they determined to establish a mission to these people. The field is ripe, Pastor Jerome contends, for harvest, - a wonderful opportunity for ministry. God is asking us as He asked Isaiah, "Whom shall I send?" Surely, Pastor says, our answer will be "Here I am, send me." Meeting in the Hamilton Square Baptist Church, the Haitian congregation conduct services with a full choir happily sporting new robes donated by the First Baptist Church of Woodstown, conduct Bible study and have had joyful celebrations of marriage and baptism. Here
you can see some photos of the pastor and some of the people of the
church at a recent meeting with the people from Seaview Baptist. The
Aidee family are praying and working toward bringing their remaining
three children here to the U S from Haiti. Please keep them in your
prayers as they search for a worship center closer to where the people
of the church live.
